Dive Exporter is an iOS app that connects to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) dive computers, downloads your dive logs, and exports them in UDDF format. It's designed for divers who want a simple, wireless way to get data off their dive computer and into their preferred dive log software.

UDDF (Universal Dive Data Format) is an open standard for storing dive data. It's supported by popular dive log applications like Subsurface, making it easy to import your dive data into the software you already use.

Dive Exporter is currently available for iPhone only. Support for other platforms and devices may be added in the future.

Dive Exporter works exclusively with dive computers that support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Devices that require a serial cable, USB, or infrared connection are not supported.

Dive Exporter is compatible with over 100 BLE-enabled dive computers from major manufacturers including Shearwater, Halcyon, Mares, Seac, Suunto, and others.

Since each device may have slightly different Bluetooth behaviors, we individually test and verify compatibility. See the Supported Devices page for the full list of verified devices.

No. Dive Exporter connects directly to your dive computer over Bluetooth. No internet connection is required to download or export your dives. All data stays on your device.

Smart Sync remembers which dives you've already downloaded. When you connect to your dive computer, it only downloads new dives — saving time and avoiding duplicates.

Dive Exporter is not designed to be a dive logbook and doesn't support editing dive details. You can export your dives in UDDF format, import them into your favorite logbook software, and edit the details there.

Dive Exporter allows you to navigate all the dive information downloaded from your dive computer, but it doesn't currently offer advanced dive profile visualization. You can export the dive in UDDF format and import it into your favorite logbook software. Alternatively, you can use UDDF Dive Viewer to load the UDDF file and visualize the dive profile.

Pricing has not been finalized yet. The app is currently available as a free private beta.
